Life Cycle Analysis
A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) is a standardised tool used to assess the environmental characteristics of building products. A LCA starts with an inventory of natural resource consumption (mining and energy resources), substance emissions (into the air, water, soil) and waste produced at each stage of the product’s life cycle. The second stage consists of assessing the environmental impacts associated with these flows. Communication of LCA results is part of the ISO 14025 international standard that leads to the publication of EDP type III.
Environmental Product Declaration EN 15804
