An authentic marriage
Between river and sea, the Maximilien Robespierre middle school in Port Saint-Louis du Rhône has a net floor area of 10,000 m2 spread out in three buildings. On the roof terrace of one of these, 6 town houses for staff accommodation are set back from the bare portion of the facade. The roofing and side facades are combined with a slatted rough timber cladding. The natural aspect and nobility of zinc convinced architect Frédérik Rill that this natural combination would create an elegant contrast
